Flood Paris

Following several hours of heavy rainfall in Paris, parts of the Louvre Museum have been flooded. Water has entered the underground galleries and evacuation routes, forcing an emergency evacuation of visitors and staff.

Several people have been injured, while others remain unaccounted for. Emergency services are on site, coordinating evacuations, medical assistance and the registration of affected persons.

BITS is used to register and track affected persons, coordinate transfers to hospitals and reception centres, and support the search for missing people.
